Our Targets

  1. All PVH products will contribute to the circular economy throughout the product lifecycle (design, use, and end of life) by 2030.

  2. We will provide opportunities to return used PVH products, and extend the life of those products through resale, rental, repair, rework, or recycling in all global regions by 2030.

How we work

Since 2020, we’ve been exploring new ways to keep products in use for longer through consumer take-back and reuse initiatives including resale, repair, rework and rental. Items that can’t be reused are responsibly recycled or repurposed to avoid landfill.

Currently, we are focusing our efforts on expanding Tommy Trade In and Resale programs across key markets, making it easier for consumers to participate in more conscious ways to shop, whether trading in items or purchasing pre-loved Tommy pieces.

These efforts not only promote responsible consumption but also strengthen consumer engagement and loyalty.

How we’re doing

250,000 kg Recirculated – and Counting

Since its inception in 2020, approximately 250,000 kg of Tommy items in Europe have been recirculated through resale with partners including Zalando, Depop and Remix Shop, as well as through rework and recycling programs. This includes otherwise unsellable items, such as damaged returns and shop floor damage.

Tommy Trade in, From Pilot to Planet

From 2021 to 2024, we ran Tommy Trade In programs across Europe, APAC, and North America to test and learn. These insights have helped us scale the program - now live in Germany with Remix Shop and in the US with ThredUp. We plan to expand globally, ensuring all items traded in are either resold or responsibly recycled.

Tommy Remixed: Reworked with Purpose

We released capsules from our reworked collection, Tommy Remixed, annually between 2021 to 2024 in Italy, France, Germany, and Japan, which were met with strong positive consumer response.
